Which US phone plan gives you the most data?
The most data depends on the definition: unlimited with no high-speed cap, the largest premium allowance, or the cheapest fixed bucket. Compare the plans.
Checked against official pages on October 20, 2026. Rules move; when this one does, it goes on the changelog.
A US phone plan with the most data is not one plan. The pages we read support three different answers, and they are not interchangeable: unlimited data with no printed high-speed cap, the largest premium allowance before a slowdown, and the most gigabytes for the money in a fixed bucket. Pick the definition first, then the plan.
The three definitions
Unlimited with no high-speed cap. The plan does not stop data after a bucket, and the carrier does not print a usage point where speeds drop. It may still deprioritize traffic when the network is busy, so read the network management sentence.
Unlimited with a premium allowance. The plan gives a fixed amount of premium or high-speed data, then unlimited data at a lower priority. T-Mobile and Verizon both print 50GB. Boost prints 40GB. Metro prints 35GB.
A fixed high-speed bucket. The plan includes a set number of gigabytes and then either stops or drops to a much slower speed. These are the rows where price per gigabyte is a real comparison.
Unlimited with no high-speed cap printed
| Plan | 1-line price | Data promise | Hotspot | Taxes | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| US Mobile Unlimited Premium | $20/mo with code FBF20, renews at $44 | Unlimited priority data, no usage-based slowdown printed | Unlimited on Dark Star | Included | 20 Oct 2026 |
| Visible+ | $30/mo with code 5OFF5, regular $35 | Unlimited premium data on 5G Ultra Wideband and 5G/4G LTE | Unlimited at up to 10 Mbps | Included | 20 Oct 2026 |
| Visible+ Pro | $45/mo | Unlimited premium data | Unlimited at up to 15 Mbps | Included | 20 Oct 2026 |
| AT&T Unlimited Ultra | $45/mo for 6 months, then $60 | Unlimited high-speed data in the 8 October guide | 30GB | Extra | 8 Oct 2026 |
US Mobile's Unlimited Premium is the only row on this page that prints a promise against usage-based slowdown: "You will never be slowed down, no matter how much data you use," per the plans page, read 20 October 2026. Visible+ and Visible+ Pro print unlimited premium data on Verizon's 5G Ultra Wideband and 5G/4G LTE networks without a high-speed cap in the plan tiles we read. AT&T's guide prints Unlimited Ultra as unlimited high-speed data. The 20 October AT&T page we opened lists the price but does not print a cap in the text we read, so the 8 October guide is the source for that row.
Unlimited with a premium allowance
| Plan | 1-line price | Premium or high-speed allowance | What happens after | Hotspot | Taxes | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| T-Mobile Unlimited Plus | $60/mo with AutoPay, $65 first month | 50GB premium | Unlimited high-speed data, may slow when the network is busy | 5GB high-speed | Extra | 20 Oct 2026 |
| Verizon Unlimited Plus | $60/mo with AutoPay, $70 first month | 50GB premium | Unlimited data, may slow after 50GB in congestion | 25GB premium | Extra | 20 Oct 2026 |
| Cricket Supreme | $55/mo with AutoPay, $60 first month | Unlimited high-speed data | May slow when the network is busy; 50GB hotspot | 50GB | Included | 20 Oct 2026 |
| Boost Unlimited+ | $50/mo | 40GB premium | Speeds may drop to 512 Kbps | Included, pulls from monthly data | Extra | 20 Oct 2026 |
| Metro by T-Mobile | $40/mo, $20/mo for 6 months with $120 due today | Unlimited 5G | May slow after 35GB when the network is busy | unverified | Included | 20 Oct 2026 |
| Straight Talk Silver | $45/mo, $42.50 for the first 3 months | Unlimited data | No high-speed cap printed; 15GB hotspot | 15GB | Extra | 20 Oct 2026 |
| Total ALL ACCESS | $60/mo with AutoPay | Unlimited data | No high-speed cap printed in the text we read | unverified | unverified | 20 Oct 2026 |
T-Mobile's page prints 50GB of premium data, then unlimited high-speed data, and adds that speeds may slow when the network is busy. Verizon prints 50GB of premium network access, then unlimited data, with a congestion sentence after 50GB. Cricket Supreme prints unlimited high-speed data and 50GB of hotspot, and reserves the right to slow data when the network is busy. Boost prints 40GB of premium data, then speeds may drop to 512 Kbps. Metro prints unlimited 5G and may slow after 35GB.
Fixed buckets: the price-per-gigabyte rows
| Plan | Price | High-speed data | After the allowance | Hotspot | Taxes | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Infimobile 15GB | $108 for 12 months | 15GB a month | Speeds reduced for the rest of the month | unverified | Fixed per shop | 9 Oct 2026 |
| Tello 10GB | $15/mo | 10GB | unverified | unverified | unverified | 8 Oct 2026 |
| AT&T Prepaid Exclusive | $25/mo online | 30GB at a maximum of 3 Mbps | 1.5 Mbps | Not stated | Extra | 8 Oct 2026 |
| Verizon Prepaid 15GB | $35/mo with AutoPay, $45 first month | 15GB | 2G | unverified | Extra | 20 Oct 2026 |
| Cricket Sensible 10GB | $30/mo with AutoPay, $35 first month | 10GB | 128 Kbps | Add-on not available | Included | 20 Oct 2026 |
The arithmetic puts Infimobile at about $0.60 per gigabyte per month on its 15GB annual card, Tello at $1.50 on its 10GB monthly tile, and AT&T at about $0.83 on the 30GB prepaid exclusive. The AT&T row is not the same product: its 30GB runs at a maximum of 3 Mbps, then 1.5 Mbps, so it is not 30GB at full speed. Infimobile also reduces speeds after the 15GB allowance. Tello's site did not answer on 20 October 2026, so the row keeps the 8 October read.
What the words do not mean
Unlimited does not mean never slowed. T-Mobile, Verizon, Cricket, Metro and Boost all print a slowdown condition on the unlimited rows. The trigger differs: a premium-data amount, a network-busy clause, or both.
A premium allowance is not a cap on total data. It is the full-speed portion. After it, the plan may continue at a lower priority or a lower speed.
A hotspot allowance is separate from phone data. A plan with unlimited phone data can still have a 5GB or 15GB hotspot. The car or laptop uses the hotspot number, not the phone number.
A promotional price is not the renewal price. US Mobile's $20 Premium price renews at $44 after 6 months. Visible+ is $30 with a code and $35 without it. Metro's $20 price runs for 6 months with $120 due today. Boost's $10 price runs for the first 6 months and then $25.
The answer in one paragraph
For a plan that does not print a usage-based slowdown, US Mobile Unlimited Premium is the strongest row. For unlimited premium data with a high hotspot speed, Visible+ and Visible+ Pro are the rows. For the largest published premium allowance, T-Mobile and Verizon both print 50GB. For the most gigabytes per dollar in a fixed bucket, Infimobile's 15GB annual card and Tello's 10GB tile are the cheap rows, with the caveat that both are fixed buckets. AT&T's 30GB at $25 is cheaper per gigabyte than Verizon's 15GB and Cricket's 10GB, but its 3 Mbps cap makes it a different product.
Questions
Which carrier has the most data?
There is no single carrier. US Mobile Unlimited Premium is the only row that promises no usage-based slowdown. Visible+ and Visible+ Pro print unlimited premium data. T-Mobile and Verizon print 50GB of premium data before any slowdown.
Is unlimited data really unlimited?
The data does not stop on the unlimited rows. The speed can drop. T-Mobile, Verizon, Cricket, Metro and Boost all print a slowdown condition; the amount and the trigger differ.
Which plan has the most hotspot?
Cricket Supreme prints 50GB of hotspot. Verizon Unlimited Plus prints 25GB of premium hotspot. T-Mobile Unlimited Plus prints 5GB. US Mobile Premium prints unlimited hotspot on Dark Star. The T-Mobile Trial is a separate offer with up to 250GB of high-speed hotspot for 30 days.
Is the $20 US Mobile price the price I keep?
No. It is a new-line port-in offer for 6 months with code FBF20, and it renews at $44. The $10 Starter offer renews at $25.
Which is cheapest per gigabyte?
Infimobile's 15GB annual card is about $0.60 per gigabyte per month, and Tello's 10GB tile is $1.50. AT&T's 30GB at $25 is about $0.83, but its 30GB runs at a maximum of 3 Mbps, so the lower price buys a slower product.
What about YouTube in the car?
The phone plan's hotspot allowance is the limit, not the phone's data line. A plan with unlimited phone data and a 5GB hotspot will stop the car's connection after 5GB of hotspot use. The eSIM side of that question is on SIM, eSIM or a US prepaid plan.
Where the rest of the decision lives
The named-plan comparison is on compare US prepaid plans. The calls-home comparison is on cheapest calls abroad. The student version of this decision is on US phone plans for international students. The credit-check, SSN and ID questions are on getting a US phone plan without an SSN. The four routes for a working phone, including travel eSIMs, are on SIM, eSIM or a US prepaid plan.
