Total by Verizon plans

Total by Verizon plans include unlimited data on the main cards, plus Mexico calling. A separate 15GB plan drops to 2G after that allotment.

Checked against official pages on October 8, 2026. Rules move; when this one does, it goes on the changelog.

Total by Verizon plans, on the main plans page, list unlimited data, talk, and text as a standard benefit. That page also says unlimited international calling to and from Mexico is included on all plans. A separate 15GB plan is not that unlimited line.

The 15GB plan is its own page

The 15GB page describes a $40 plan with 15GB of high-speed data per line, then 2G, and unlimited talk and text nationwide and to Canada and Mexico. Hotspot on that page is enabled up to 15GB. The main plans page, by contrast, prices Total STARTER, Total MAX 5G BYO, Total MAX 5G, and Total ALL ACCESS at $35, $25, $50, and $60 a month for 1 line with AutoPay. Those four prices are the unlimited cards. They are not the $40 15GB plan.

Tax

Neither page states whether government taxes sit inside those advertised prices. The state table leaves that cell unverified, on US phone plans in Massachusetts. A prepaid line versus a credit check is on getting a US phone plan without an SSN.

Questions

Does every Total plan drop to 2G after 15GB?

The main cards say unlimited data. The drop to 2G is the separate 15GB plan.

Is Mexico on both?

The main page puts unlimited international calling to and from Mexico on all of its plans. The 15GB page includes unlimited talk and text to Canada and Mexico.
