Keep your Turkcell number active while abroad
Keep a Turkcell number active abroad. Load 200 TL or more for 185 days of use. Miss it and a 95-day or 180-day half-active period starts.

Keep a Turkcell number active abroad from a price page that starts one clock at activation and another at a load of 200 TL or more. The first miss opens a 95-day half-active period. The miss after that load opens a 180-day half-active period. In both, callers can still reach you, and you cannot make calls, send SMS, or use data.
The Turkey page carries the student count. The account type here is prepaid. The support answer prints the same 60, 95, 185, and 180 days.
What is the 95-day period?
It follows the first 60 days when the 200 TL load does not happen. Turkcell's TL card price page, checked 8 October 2026, states: "Bu 60 gün süresince tek seferde 200 TL ve üzeri TL, paket yüklemez veya 200 TL ve üzeri TL Transfer almazsanız, 95 Günlük “Yarı Aktif Dönem” başlar. Bu dönem boyunca arayanlar size ulaşabilir, ancak siz hattınızda TL olsa dahi arama yapamaz, sms atamaz, data kullanımı yapamazsınız."
A Turkcell 200 TL single load, or a package at that amount, or a transfer of 200 TL or more, is what those 60 days are waiting for. Without it, the Turkcell 95 day half active period starts. Callers can reach you. You cannot make calls, send SMS, or use data, even if TL remains. If you do not load by the end of that period, the Turkcell Hazir Kart number is canceled and the line cannot be used again.
What are the 185 days and the 180 days?
They start when the 200 TL load or transfer happens, and the next miss is 180 days of half-active use. The same price page states: "Turkcell Faturasız Hattınızı satın aldıktan sonra tek seferde 200 TL ve üzeri TL, paket yüklediğiniz andan veya 200 TL ve üzeri TL Transfer aldığınız tarihten itibaren hattınız ile 185 gün boyunca telefonunuzdan arama yapabilir, aranabilir ve tüm Hazır Kart hizmetlerinden yararlanabilirsiniz. Bu 185 gün süresince tekrar tek seferde 200 TL ve üzeri TL, paket yüklemez veya 200 TL ve üzeri TL Transfer almazsanız, 180 Günlük “Yarı Aktif Dönem” başlar."
The Turkcell 185 days then 180 day half active wording is this pair of sentences. From the load or the transfer, you have 185 days of calls in both directions and Hazır Kart services. If you do not repeat a single load or transfer of 200 TL or more in that time, the 180-day half-active period starts. Repeat that load once every 185 days. The twelve-month cell stays unverified, because these days are durations and the page prints no holding price. The options page lists other holds when this load is the step the page names.
What does a January load change?
A last load from 1 January through 29 March still gets 185 days, and the close can fall in the last week of December. The same price page states: "Bunun yanında, her yılın 1 Ocak - 29 Mart arasında son yüklemesini yapmış aboneler 185 gün boyunca arama yapabilir, aranabilir ve tüm Hazır Kart hizmetlerinden yararlanabilir. Bu 185 gün süresince tekrar TL/paket yüklenmezse “Yarı Aktif Dönem” başlar."
Those subscribers can make and receive calls and use Hazır Kart services for 185 days. If no further TL or package is loaded, a half-active period starts. Without another load of 200 TL or more, or a transfer of at least 200 TL, the line is canceled in the last week of December and cannot be used again. Whether roaming is required to receive a code is unverified.
