- Terms, checked 8 October 2026: the active period follows the denomination and cannot exceed 365 days. If it ends, or the SIM is off the Telkomsel network for 90 consecutive days, a 30-day grace starts. In that grace you cannot use the internet, make calls or send SMS, and you can still top up. Keep a Telkomsel number active abroad from the prepaid bullets that cap the active period at 365 days, start a 30-day grace after that period ends or after 90 consecutive days off the network, and then give 60 days to unblock a blocked number. Top up during the grace if you want the card active again.
The Indonesia page carries the student count. The account type here is prepaid. The grace bullet closes internet, making calls and sending SMS.
What is the 365-day cap?
The active period follows what you bought, and it has a ceiling.
The Telkomsel 365 day active period cap is this sentence: the period follows each credit denomination and/or data package on the product description, and it cannot exceed 365 days. Extend or top up before that ceiling.
What do the 90 days and the 30 days do?
Either the active period ending, or 90 consecutive days off the network, starts the grace, and the 30 days are counted from the end of the active period.
The Telkomsel 90 consecutive days off the network are one trigger. The Telkomsel 30 day grace period will start, and it runs from the end of the active period. You cannot access the internet, make calls or send SMS. You can still top up or buy a package so the card can be active again.
What do you lose when the grace ends?
The SIM and what is left on it cannot be used, and the compensation release is in the same sentence. The same terms state: "Dengan berakhirnya masa tenggang, Kartu SIM beserta sisa saldo pulsa, volume/kuota paket, dan/atau POIN yang ada di dalamnya tidak dapat digunakan kembali dan Anda membebaskan Telkomsel dari tuntutan ganti rugi dalam bentuk apa pun."
When the grace ends, the SIM, the remaining credit, the package quota and/or the POIN cannot be used again, and you release Telkomsel from any compensation claim.
What are the 60 days?
The block bullet is the unblock window, counted from the number being blocked. The same terms state: "Pada periode masa blokir, Kartu SIM Anda dapat digunakan kembali dengan melakukan mekanisme buka blokir.
The Telkomsel 60 days to unblock are this sentence. In the block period the SIM can be used again if you unblock. If you do not unblock within 60 days from the number being blocked, the number cannot be used again. The twelve-month cell stays unverified. Whether roaming is required to receive a code is unverified. The changelog dates this reading of the terms.
