Keep a French number active abroad by reading Orange's two clocks on the same Mobicarte answer: the SIM is valid for six months, and the line will be suspended after two months of inactivity if you have not identified yourself on the customer space. Open the Orange card. Identification and a recharge are both on that answer, and they are not the same condition.

SFR, Bouygues and Free were not opened on 8 October 2026. Spain puts six months on the balance and 40 days on a recovery. Open Doors Fast Facts for 2025 prints 8,698 students from France in the United States in 2024/25, 0.7 percent of the total, a change of 1.8 percent from 8,543 in 2023/24. Indonesia starts a 30-day grace from the end of the active period or from 90 days off the network.

What does the Mobicarte answer print?

The shop FAQ states the six months and the suspension in consecutive sentences.

The Mobicarte SIM is valid for six months. However, if you do not complete any identification on your customer space, your line will be suspended after two months of inactivity. Sera suspendue is will. The condition in that second sentence is identification on the customer space. The six months are the validity of the SIM. Log in and identify the line if you are inside the two months, and treat a recharge as the separate recommendation in the next sentence on that page, which says recharging before the end of that period keeps the line available. The options page is the wider list of holds.

What should you do before the two months?

The page's own next sentences recommend a recharge, and they do not replace the identification sentence. Recharge the SIM before the end of the inactivity period the previous sentence names, because that is the step the shop page recommends for keeping the line available. The will-be-suspended wording stays inside the identification sentence. A twelve-month holding price is unverified on this page.

Sentence on the shop FAQ Clock What it requires Verb
