Keep your Ufone number active while abroad
Keep a Ufone number active abroad: after validity, incoming calls and messages. 90 days without recharge might disconnect it. 180 days is another page.
Checked against official pages on October 3, 2026. Rules move; when this one does, it goes on the changelog.

- After recharge validity ends, the slab page limits reception to incoming calls and messages, and says that 90 days without a recharge might disconnect the number. The general terms reserve a right to disconnect a number dormant for 180 days.

- Roaming needed to receive codes abroad

Keep a Ufone number active abroad by reading the recharge page and the general terms as two pages. The recharge page says that after validity, incoming calls and messages are what remain, and that 90 days without a recharge might disconnect the number. The general terms reserve a right to disconnect a number dormant for 180 days, and the written request to retain the subscription sits after a comma in that same paragraph.
Incoming calls and messages, then 90 days
Ufone's prepaid recharge slabs, checked 3 October 2026, state: "If you decide not to recharge after the validity of your existing recharge has ended, you will only be able to receive incoming calls and messages." Ufone incoming after recharge expiry is that sentence. The word is messages. The next sentence in the same list item says that if you do not recharge in 90 days, the number might get disconnected. One sentence is what remains after validity. The other is what may happen if those 90 days pass with no recharge.
The bands on that page, printed the same day:
| Recharge (Rs) | Days |
|---|---|
| 90-99 | 90 |
| 100-499 | 180 |
| 500-999 | 365 |
| 1000+ | 365 |
The same list says these recharges apply to prepaid customers, and that prepaid customers can recharge amounts of Rs. 90 or more. The Pakistan page leaves the twelve-month cell unverified. These bands are validity.
The general terms are a different page
Non Usage on Ufone's general terms, checked 3 October 2026, states: "In case the Customer remains dormant/inactive for a period Of 180 days, the Operator reserves the right to disconnect and re-issue the MSISDN to any other Customer and the Customer shall have no option for recourse, The Customer can, however, retain subscription by informing Operator in written, fax, email etc. to retain the subscription for any specific period on payment Of some charges (if any)." The written request begins after the comma that follows recourse. The operator reserves the right. The paragraph does not name prepaid or postpaid.
That is why this card is marked for both account types. The slab page is where the recharges are described as prepaid. The 180-day paragraph is the general terms. Zong prints its written request as the next sentence after a period, not as the half after this comma.
