Keep an Irancell number active abroad from two tabs of one prepaid agreement that do not print the same inactivity paragraph. The Persian tab says Irancell may, after notice. The English tab says 16,240 Rials will be deducted.
The Iran page carries the student count and sets this card beside the pages that were opened and left off the card. The account type here is prepaid. The 20-minute postpaid voice rate is the yardstick the Persian item uses for the deduction.
What the Persian tab prints for 90 days
The Irancell 90 day non-free transaction condition is the parenthetical in the opening: no transaction except free ones.
If the subscriber does not activate the SIM within 90 days of registration, or after activation has no transaction except free transactions for 90 consecutive days, Irancell may, after the required notice, follow the two items. When credit remains, after a three-month period with no transaction, the deduction is at most the tariff of 20 minutes of the postpaid base voice rate, and the same amount follows every two months until that credit is exhausted. Irancell may expropriate when the credit is gone, after notice, and the same item allows a two-way disconnect. The paragraph prints no rial figure. The 90 days belong to the opening. The three-month period belongs to the first item.
May governs the company in the opening, and may governs the choice once the credit is gone. Notice is required before either item. On the same Persian page, two-way disconnect removes any service except voice calls to national emergency service codes. Whether a received bank code is one of the free transactions named in the parentheses is unverified. Someone who treats day 90 as the day the number is already gone has skipped the credit and the verb. Saudi Arabia is a different split, 180 days and 360 days on two stc pages.
What the English tab prints after three months
The English figure is Irancell 16,240 Rials after three months with a remaining balance. Irancell's English prepaid agreement, checked 6 October 2026, states: "If a prepaid SIM card subscriber has a remaining balance in their account and no transactions for a period of three months, after providing the necessary notification to the subscriber, an amount equal to the maximum tariff for 20 minutes of off-net mobile calls (16,240 Rials) will be deducted from the subscriber’s balance. If the lack of transactions continues, the same amount will be deducted every two months until the subscriber’s balance is depleted."
That paragraph starts from a remaining balance and from three months with no transactions. After notice, the deduction is 16,240 Rials, named as the maximum tariff for 20 minutes of off-net mobile calls. The Irancell deduction every two months is the next sentence, and it runs until the subscriber's balance is depleted. Will is the verb on both deductions. What the paragraph prints is that balance, those three months, the notice, the rial figure, and the repeat. The registration gate and the free-transaction exception are in the Persian section above.
Off-net is the English name for the calls. The Persian item names the postpaid base voice rate and prints no rial amount, so each description stays with its own file. The twelve-month cell and the cheapest hold stay unverified. Whether roaming counts as a transaction here is unverified. The options page lists parking, and letting a number lapse, beside a hold like this one.
What deregistration means on the English page
Irancell deregistration leaves the licensee entitled to transfer the number. The same English agreement defines deregistration: "Means the process whereby the subscriber is denied access to the network, with its SIM Card and MSISDN being deregistered. Thereby, the Licensee is entitled to transfer the vacant MSISDN to others."
Denied access is the process. The SIM and the MSISDN are deregistered, and the licensee is entitled to transfer the vacant number. The Persian page's definition of expropriation is the permission to be on the network being canceled, with the licensee able to assign the number to someone else. Read beside the Persian second item, that transfer waits on there being no credit, and the verb there is may, after notice. A later clause on the English page says Irancell may, forthwith and without notice, deregister the SIM when the subscriber breaches the agreement or a CRC resolution. Forthwith and without notice are printed on that breach clause. The inactivity tab says notice is given. Whether a bank code arrives while the phone is abroad is unverified on the two tabs quoted here.
The English will stays inside the deduction paragraph quoted above. The Persian may stays in the first section.
